Veedersburg, Ind. - Edgar Craig, 70, a life resident of Veedersburg and former signalman for the Pennsylvanion Railroad, died unexpectedly yesterday (Feb. 12, 1968) at his home. His body was found on the bathroom floor by his wife when she returned from work. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Born Dec. 1, 1897, in Fountain County, he was the son of Owen and Ada Drollinger Craig. He was married in may 1923 to Alberta Baldwin, who survives. Mr. Craig also had been an electrician and was the street commissioner for the past 12 years. He was a member of the New Century EUB Church. Survivors also include a son, Gene of Veedersburg; two brothers, Clifford of Veedersburg and Roy of Alanson, Mich.; and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. The body is at the Parham Funeral Home. Arrangements are incomplete. - -

Veedersburg - Edgar F. Craig, 70, died at his home in Veedersburg Monday. He was found by his wife, Alberta when she returned home from work in Danville. Death was due to natural causes. He was born Dec. 18, 1897, in Fountain County, the son of Owen B. and Ada Drollinger Craig. He was married at Veedersburg, May, 1923 to Alberta Baldwin. He was a former electrician, a signalman for the Pennsylvania Rail Road, a former street commissioner for 12 years in Veedersburg, and a member of New Century E.U.B. Church. He is survived by the wife Alberta; one son, Gene, two granddaughters, Bonnie and Kathy Craig, all of Veedersburg; two brothers, Clifford of Veedersburg and Roy of Alanson, Mich. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Parham's Funeral Home here. The Rev. Omar Walters, Veedersburg, will officiate and burial will be in the Harveysburg Cemetery near Kingman. - -

Omar Walters will officiate. Burial will be in Harveysburg Cemetery, north of Kingman. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. today.
